He found a button on the floor one day and thought that it was a liquorice allsort. He swallowed it before he realised his mistake. The radiographer took an x-ray to make sure that the button was going to ‘come out naturally’.
A little boy had to go and have his hearing and speech tested and he was worried about what would happen. So the bear went there first to play with the equipment. He was able to tell the boy that it was actually quite good fun.
This picture was taken just after he fell off the bed and was seen for the first time. The nurse had to bandage him up and give him a cup of cocoa. As you can probably tell he was a bit sore and shaky when the picture was taken.
One night the bear was sure his heart was jumping and fluttering. After a doctor had done some tests on him, he remembered that he hadn’t had any supper and the funny feeling was his tummy rumbling.
In this picture he’s just playing. He thought that using crutches looked like fun so he made himself a pot and had a go. He found out that it is not as easy as it looks and that once you’ve got a pot on it isn’t very easy to get off again.
This was very embarrassing. He was exploring the kitchen at the time trying to find some milk for a cup of cocoa. He slipped and fell head first into a saucepan. It wouldn’t come off his head and he had to ask a nurse for help.
